Planning Nicole and Jo’s Wedding at Kelmarsh Hall
Seasonal Florals and thoughtful Styling
Working with Nicole to bring her wedding vision to life at the stunning Kelmarsh Hall was a true joy. She had a clear priority from the start: to use seasonal florals that reflected the natural beauty of the British early summer.

Seasonal Florals with a Garden Style Aesthetic
June is a wonderful month for a wedding, with an abundance of lush greenery and delicate blooms. For Nicole and Joe, I carefully foraged British foliage to create designs that felt organic, effortless, and airy, perfectly matching the aesthetic of Kelmarsh Hall and its open gardens. The fireplace installation and ceremony urns were key focal points, exuding the feeling of an outdoor garden brought indoors.
When installing the floral arrangement on the ceremony room fireplace, it was vital that the design enveloped the hanging oval brass mirror, creating a frame of the florals that felt like it had grown there naturally. For this installation i used locally foraged foliage and foam free mechanics, avoiding commercially available greenery. This approach gave the entire piece a wild, romantic feeling that echoed the surrounding gardens outside and tying the venue’s natural setting beautifully into the ceremony space.

Sticking to the Budget while Elevating Every Space
It was important to honor Nicole’s budget while still making each floral touch feel special. A standout idea was to give each bridesmaid a bouquet of single-hued carnations, simple, elegant, and cost-effective. With all the bridesmaids wearing lilac gowns, the contrasting carnation shades added a soft, personalized pop of colour.

Maximising Impact at Key Venue Touchpoints
Kelmarsh Hall’s grand peach-painted entrance hall features two classical entry tables. Our plan was to place matching urns here to welcome guests. However, when we arrived, we discovered the venue already had beautifully arranged urns in place. Instead, we relocated ours to the ceremony room, creating a lush, immersive space that felt like an extension of the gardens.

Reception Table Flowers: Delicate and British Grown
For the wedding breakfast, we kept things intimate and seasonal. Each table featured a trio of bud vases filled with local, British-grown blooms sourced from Gardener’s Blooms, a grower based in Harpole. These small touches created an elegant tablescape without overwhelming the space.

Nicole & Joe’s wedding was a celebration of nature, love, and thoughtful design, a true reflection of what we strive to bring to every wedding.
